Village of Saint-Michel L’Ecluse and Léparon

Saint-Michel L’Ecluse et Léparon, associated with the commune of La Roche-Chalais, is situated on the western edge of the Forêt de la Double. Here you can admire the Church of Saint-Michel and take part in the events organised by the “Les Doublauds” association on Friday evenings.

Two other points of interest can also be seen: La Motte de Vaudu (an ancient feudal motte) and the Pierre de Champ Martin (a border and strategic decision-making point between 3 départements).
