Village de Servanches

Servanches

Located in the heart of the Double forest, Servanches was home to an “espital” belonging to Saint John of Jerusalem in the 12th century. Many pilgrims stopped here on their way to Santiago de Compostela, crossing the Double on their way to Santiago de Compostela.

You too can make a stop here today. The village is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with its ponds, streams classified as a Natura 2000 zone, and age-old oak forest.
